Interstate 530 has been completed to Wilmar, Arkansas, approximately 45 miles north of Crossett. I-530, also know as the I-69 connector, will link I-69 to I-40 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Businesses in Crossett have easy access to the Port of Crossett, which is located on the Ouachita River only seven miles west of the Crossett Industrial Park. Located at mile marker 237 on the east bank of the Ouachita River, the slackwater harbor is 475 miles (two towing days) from the Port of New Orleans. The Port of Crossett has a nine-foot navigation channel maintained by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, a docking peer, a turning basin and a four barge towing system. There is a 15,000 sq. ft. warehouse onsite available for lease and a 850,000 gallon storage tank that is currently lease by Tetra Technologies. Ten acres of outdoor storage is also available at the Port, with an additional 72 acres available for future development.
